How to apply｜如何申請

1. 選擇學校與課程｜Choose a program
選擇學位（學士／碩士）與入學梯次。

2. 準備文件｜Prepare documents
準備學歷成績、推薦信、履歷與語言成績。
Diplomas, transcripts, recommendations, CV, test scores (if required).
3. 申請居留簽證（求學）｜Apply for Resident Visa（Study）
向駐外館處申請，約 5–7 個工作天。

在台灣居留簽證、ARC，我能先在母國申請嗎？ Can I apply in my home country?
是的，大多數情況下，外國學生在取得學校入學許可後，可以在母國（或居住國）向 Bureau of Consular Affairs （外交部領事事務局）或臺灣駐外館處申請「居留簽證 (求學)」。入境後，再向 National Immigration Agency （內政部移民署）申請「外僑居留證 (ARC)」。

ARC 遺失或將到期怎麼辦？ What if my ARC is lost or expiring?
若「外僑居留證 (ARC)」遺失、損毀或個人資料需更改，應向內政部移民署提出補發或更換申請。如果 ARC 即將到期且仍在就學狀態，應於到期前 30 天內（或最多 3 個月內）提出延期申請。
If your ARC is lost, damaged, or requires data update, you must apply to the National Immigration Agency for replacement or reissue.If your ARC is nearing expiry and you remain eligible (e.g., still enrolled), you should apply for extension typically within 30 days (up to 3 months) before expiry.

當你在台灣語言學校完成課程，之後想申請轉入大學學位課程，通常需要：
- 取得大學入學許可或錄取通知書。
- 語言學校的在學證明、成績單或修課證明。
- 若居留目的需從「語言就學」轉為「學位就學」，可能需至外交部領事事務局或內政部移民署辦理「居留目的變更」或再申請簽證。

國際學生可以打工嗎？ Can I work part-time?
是可以，但必須先取得「打工許可」。在學期間，外籍學生（含海外華人）每週最多可打工 20 小時（寒暑假視情況可放寬）且需持有效「工作許可證」才合法工作。若未取得許可而工作，依《就業服務法》可能被處以新台幣 3 萬元至 15 萬以上罰款，甚至被驅離。

During academic terms (excluding summer/winter break), work hours are generally limited to 20 hours per week.
